I will be honest with you: i do not follow the E3. I don’t think i will start, either, anytime soon. Mostly because i have leveled DOWN when it comes to gaming… I used to be a Gamer. Then i used to be an Oldschool Gamer… and now? Well, now I am a Casual Gamer. Fuck, make that Casual CASUAL Gamer! How Casual, you migth ask? Well… Miyamoto has announced the latest installment of my favorite game franchise, and i still have not finished either Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Phantom Hourglass or Spirit Tracks! Crap, come to think about it, the last Zelda game i finished was back in the heyday of the N64, and what some argue has been THE best Zelda Game: Ocarina of Time. I never really finished Majora’s Mask for a really dumb reason: there was no more Zelda games to be played, and i was torn between going cold turkey or simply putting down the controller, and leaving that window open, and deal with that at a later time… kinda delaying the inevitable.
Now, even though i have not finished a Zelda game since Ocarina, i have played them all (except Spirit Tracks: it sits unopened on my games rack back home) and have really, REALLY enjoyed the limited playtime i invested in them. (more…)
