The MeekaKitty Effect

Yeah… a few weeks back, famous Vlogger Tessa Violet tweeted an image. I tweeted back, asking her if she was wearing a Shamwow -i meant to say Snugle- and much to my surprise, she replied back:

Since I am such a twittard, i saw this to go hand in hand with what was going on on the comic, and decided to write it in the over all plot of the story.
YES! The comic DOES have a general plot, you naysayers and unbelievers! And just now you are beginning to see the initial threads of said plot and its devious devices. So, instead of dissing me, go tell your friends about this great nonsensical piece of neo-literary splendor.
Getting back on topic, i started watching Meekakitty a while ago, when a friend of mine sent me a video of Tessa talking about Zelda, after having a discussion about not finding cute nerdy girls down here. Shit, show me a cute redhead debating the virtues of The Wind Waker vs. Twilight Princess, only to go hang out at the Nintendo Store and walk out with a really KICK ASS Zelda Shirt, and i am sold for life!
So i end up making a few comics about that… I hope you liked ‘em and all that. But what really amazed me was that after tweeting about the comic, like i always do whenever there is a new strip up, i mentioned Tessa on that tweet. She saw the comic, and Re-Tweeted my Tweet:

And the onslaught begun!
A gajillion people swarmed to the site. Well, more like a few thousand people… but you get the point. Now, this here is a humble webpage, and if we hit the 100 unique visitors on any given day we are happy! So you could imagine our surprise and delight when we had almost 2 thousand pageviews on a single day.
So, Tessa Violet… i know you are not gonna read this. I know i am just one in a sea of 50 thousand faces, and i am just talking to myself here, but i just wanted to say THANK YOU for driving a small piece your horde of followers my way. It was awesome.
Keep up the good work, yes?
